Robert Jones, Director / CIT Aerospace & Defense Finance

Robert Jones has over 20 years of investment and corporate banking experience, with the past 15 years focused exclusively on aerospace, defense and government services. As part of CIT Group’s Leveraged Finance team, Robert leads the origination and structuring of a broad range of financing transactions, including leveraged cashflow and asset-based deals. He has significant experience working with private equity investors focused in this Prior to joining CIT in 2006, Robert was a director in Wachovia Securities’ aerospace & defense investment banking group, and prior to that held a similar position at CIBC Oppenheimer. During his career, Robert has worked with a broad array of aerospace and defense companies, including most of the major prime contractors and OEMs, and many of their supply chain partners, here and abroad. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and an NASD Registered Principal (Series 7, 63 and 24).
