Seattle's Historic Waterfront
Seattle waterfront, tour, pier 50, ferries
Seattle is a port city on the Pacific Ocean. Blessed with a historic waterfront that was the source of early Seattle’s wealth and economy, this is a Seattle visitor’s delight second only to the Public Market. The historical waterfront is served by the FREE #99 bus, and we begin our tour at Pier 55 -- the central stop for the #99 bus and also the heart of the historic waterfront. Our tour is a level walk from the Terminal of the largest ferry system in the USA to Pier 70. We cover the highlights, the hidden gems, and historic notes of this visitor friendly waterfront. The tour is friendly for wheel chairs and strollers as well as pedicabs. And you should plan to have your camera in-hand every step of the way, because we visit some unbelievable photo opportunities on this walking tour.
