Island County Historical Museum is located at the “foot” of the 1905 Coupeville Wharf, in one of Washington’s oldest towns. Our collections represent all of Island County, with over 20,000 artifacts, from Ice Age, to early sea captains and settlers, to modern times.
Eight Native American dugout canoes, and the first automobile on Whidbey Island are some popular highlights of our exhibits.
The museum is located on the corner of Front and Alexander streets. Parking is free however limited.
