Vernon Park is a tree covered space at the top of Sixth Street, across from the U.S. Post Office. The park features a gezebo, picnic tables and bench seating. Every winter, the park is home to a large display of lighted holiday sculptures that is free and open to the public from the first Saturday in December through New.
