During summer, visit our outdoor Appaloosa exhibit that runs from mid-May to mid-October.
In this visitor viewing area, find picnic tables, benches, shade trees... plus a couple of gorgeous Appaloosas grazing nearby.
Located in the heart of Palouse Country, the home of the Appaloosa breed. The museum is a non-profit organization established to illustrate the history of the Appaloosa horse. The modern facility includes exhibit area, theater, hands on kids area, library and archive. Exhibits range from the early evidence of spotted horses in art and literature, to the relationship between Appaloosa and the Nez Perce Indians.
Admission Price:
The museum is free and open to all.
A donation of $2 per person or $4 per family is appreciated.

We’re open Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Fridays and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
