The Giant Red Stiletto at River Park Square - PhotoOp
PhotoOp,spokane,stiletto
The Giant Red Stiletto, “Ruby,” can usually be seen near the entrance to River Park Square. She is a 9 ft. high, 11 ft. long fashion statement. The shoe is modelled after a size 8 stiletto. It is aluminum, with approximately 85 ft. of welding and 7 gallons of paint. The design is by Sami Perry, a local Spokane artist. “Ruby” is owned by River Park Square.
Although there are other red stiletto sculptures in the world, Ruby is rumored to be the largest. Standing in the world’s largest red stiletto makes for a one-of-a-kind photo to share with your friends and family.
If you don’t find the Giant Red Stiletto at the River Park Square entrance, that means she has stepped out into the community - making any event more fashionable. “Ruby” made her first appearance at the Bloomsday Run held in Spokane on May 4, 2014.
