Silcott Pond

A small impoundment off the Snake River near the bottom of Alpowa Grade (west of Clarkston) is open to fishing year-round. Silcott Pond is normally stocked in the spring with Rainbow Trout, and will provide for some great fishing in the early season and throughout the year. Kids who are 14 and younger don’t need a fishing license to fish in the state of Washington; No license is required for anyone on Free Fishing Weekend, which is the first weekend in June following the first Monday.
