Spokane Centennial Trail
Trail, walking, hiking,sponsor
The Spokane Centennial Trail is one of Spokane’s outdoor highlights! Any time of day during every day of the week you will find people enjoying the paved trail that stretches from the Idaho border to Nine Mile Falls.
The Centenial Trail is a 81 mile non motorized path connecting Spokane to Coeur d'Alene. The Spokane River Centennial Trail is a paved path following mostly along the winding course of the Spokane River from the Washington–Idaho state line to Sontag Park in Nine Mile Falls, 37 miles west of Spokane. It puts walkers, joggers, runners, bicyclists, skateboarders, and roller-blade users on their own pathway of asphalt. There are endless places to get on or off the trail, and the trail runs mostly east - west, and generally is right next to the Spokane river. That lets the trail pass under most bridges, and with gradual elevation gain/loss (matching the river) for nearly all of it.
The trail runs through the 100 acre Riverfront Park, so you easily access the trail from downtown Spokane.
