Located outside the Slavonian Hall in Tacoma’s “Old Town” district, you’ll find a sculpture by locally famous artist, Larry Anderson. The statue is a Croatian fisherman of a hundred years ago showing a salmon to his appreciative wife. The statue marked the 2001 centennial of the Slavonian-American Benevolent Society of Tacoma.
The statue is informally titled the “Proper Role of Man and Fish”.
