Seemingly on the edge of the world, Fireman's Park provides expansive views of Commencement Bay, Mt. Rainier, and the Port of Tacoma. Fireman’s Park also features two public art installations.
Marking its origins from the 1890’s, Fireman's Park takes its name from Engine House No. 6, built by the city in 1891 at the southern edge of the original park area. Featuring the world’s tallest totem pole that was carved in 1903 on commission by wealthy Tacoma businessmen
Clear days offer great PhotoOps of 11th street bridge, Mt. Rainier, Port of Tacoma, and Commencement Bay.
