Granite Falls provides a rural living environment for people who prefer living outside the urban areas. First settled in 1884, the City now has a population of 3,400 people, with an estimated population of 10,000 in the immediate outlying area of the town. Granite Falls is the “Gateway to the Mountain Loop”, which is known for many outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, camping, sledding, among other activities.
