Magdalena Bay - whale boat and whale

Magdalena Bay - whale boat and whale by YodioMan

Gray whales annually gather in Magdalena Bay to weather the winter and birth their calves. In early spring many visit Magdalena Bay to close observe the whales and their calves by chartering small motor skiffs and guides. The PhotoOps are abundant and a luck day may include very close encounters with the young curious calves.

Angel Island -- PhotoOp of Golden Gate Bridge by YodioMan

Angel Island is an island in San Francisco Bay offering expansive 360 degree views of the San Francisco skyline, the Marin County Headlands and Mount Tamalpais. The entire island is included within Angel Island State Park and is administered by California State Parks. The island, a California Historical Landmark, has been used for a variety of purposes, including military forts, a US Public Health Service Quarantine Station, and a US Bureau of Immigration inspection and detention facility. Although part of Tiburon, the island is separated from the mainland of Marin County by Raccoon Strait. Access to the island is by private boat or public ferry from San Francisco, Tiburon or Vallejo. During the off-season (October–March), all ferries run a reduced schedule. All fares include park admission.

'Fifty Shades of Grey' Tower - Photo Op

'Fifty Shades of Grey' Tower - Photo Op by YodioMan

Escala tower is the centerpiece of E.L. James' 2012 novel, "Fifty Shades of Grey." Featured throughout this fictional novel, the “1920 – Fourth Ave.” address of the elegant, 30-story ESCALA is among Seattle’s most exclusive addresses, and the building is shown in a number of location shots in the movie of the same name. For fans, it is a major photo op. Since Escala is a private residence, most fans are limited to having their picture taken in front of the street sign and shots capturing the building exterior. Several scenes in "Fifty Shades of Grey" were filmed at the top of the big circular stairway. The grand staircase ascends from the lobby to Club Cielo, an exclusive 25,000-square-foot city club for homeowners and their guests.

Avila Adobe - oldest building in LA

Avila Adobe - oldest building in LA by YodioMan

The Avila Adobe was built in 1818 by Francisco Avila and has the distinction of being the oldest standing residence in Los Angeles, California. The Avila Adobe is open for public touring and is located at East 10 Olvera Street within El Pueblo de Los Angeles State Historic Park. The park office is located at 845 N. Alameda Street, and the Visitors Information Center is at 128 Paseo de la Plaza. The present adobe is a historic house museum, with seven rooms left from what used to be a much larger building. Restoration has worked to create an idea of what the original home was like. The largest room, the family room, was a general area for dining, entertainment, and social gatherings. The office room was the main business room for Francisco Avila. The sala, or living room, was reserved for special occasions such as a wedding or baptism or maybe even entertaining special guests. The adobe is a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument and a California Historical Landmark (No. 145) and is on the National Registe

Canopy Tours Northwest by YodioMan

Ph. 360.529.4703 Canopy Tours Northwest is about "Breathtaking Forest Adventures." At Camano Island's Kristoferson Farm, a zip or a stroll through this sustainably managed forest really is a breathtaking forest experience.
