Well deserving of its top rating by tripadvisor, Casa Parra features Mexican authentic hand-crafted folk art, handcrafts, paintings and photography by local artists.
The owner, Claudia, speaks excellent English, and she has personally selected each of the items in her store. As a result she is a wealth of information for each item and its story.
Located a half-block from the Cathedral, Casa Parra is very easy to find. Walk about a block toward the water, then turn left on Madero. Whatever you purchase it will become a keepsake and after talking with Claudia you also leave with the story behind it.
Cassa Parra is also the main retail location for the artwork of Alfredo Diaz Llorens who just finished an art exhibition at the LaPaz Cultural Center.
