Located in historic downtown Bothell is the 1916 Kaysner Estate. This building was originally home to the mayor of Bothell. The back dining room at Preservation Kitchen was once the garage and the bricks are still visible. Owners Gary and Susan Southwick fell in love with the estate's sprawling grounds, original brick, craftsman woodwork, lead glass windows and two fireplaces. They spent five months restoring the property and building the new bar. They enjoy owning a restaurant that supports local businesses and promotes seasonal cuisine.
